Job Responsibilities includes (but may not be limited to):

  • Provide Level-2 support for support requests escalated by IT helpdesk staff.
  • Assist in new user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist in the configuration and automation of various internal processes, tasks, and policies.
  • Perform management, maintenance and support of internal IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new IT hardware/software/services/processes.
  • Respond to cyber-security incidents and threats, implement security patches and policies.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors for support and projects related to our systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage setup and breakdown of construction jobsites – coordinate internet connection, procure and configure networking equipment (does not include network wiring for an office/trailer), printers/copiers, user hardware (monitors, docking stations), Videoconferencing equipment, etc.
  • Other duties upon request

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working in an IT support role
  • 4+ years of experience configuring and managing a Microsoft Windows Server environment
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and managing virtualization environments (Nutanix AHV and Hyper-V preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure environments (Azure preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience configuring, managing, and executing disaster recovery services and runbooks (Azure Site Recovery preferred)
  • Linux experience is a plus
  • Experience with endpoint management tools, remote software distribution, and OS imaging (SCCM preferred)
  • Experience with MDM tools and services(Meraki MDM with iOS/iPadOS environment preferred)
  • Experience with file cloud services (Egnyte preferred)
  • Experience with SSO services (Okta preferred)
  • Experience with various security services and software (Mimecast, Sentinel One preferred)
  • Experience with ERP software and services (Viewpoint Vista preferred)
  • Experience with inventory management and rental software (Point of Rental preferred)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Experience of network protocols and equipment (Meraki and Palo Alto Networks preferred)
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)
  • Knowledge of network security best practices
  • Experience with construction related SaaS is a plus (Plangrid/Build, Raken, ALMobile, Procore)
  • Experience with VOIP/Communication related software and services (Zoom and Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams preferred)
  • Must be able to handle employee confidential information.
  • Able to work under little supervision with strong multitasking ability.
  • High level of professionalism and organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is a plus. Equivalent work experience may substitute.
  • Industry Certifications, such as CompTIA A+/Network+ , Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Duties required physical abilities such as repetitive hand and finger motion, sitting, standing, walking, as well as extending hands and arms in work areas.
