Moffett Gateway is 612,000 SF of Class A office space on 15.531 acres. The project includes two 7-story towers that offer views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Silicon Valley, a parking garage that contains a 14,299 SF fitness center and “high garden” on the upper level, a 49,000 SF central commons, and direct access to an adjacent light rail station.
The project is pursuing LEED Platinum for the core and shell. Contributing to the project’s sustainable efforts are a 30,000-sq.-ft. rooftop garden on top of the garage, greatly reducing the structure’s heat island effect. The project is also offsetting 35% of its energy consumption through green-power purchasing, building at least 36 electric chargers, and using a large amount of recycled materials in construction.
