New five-story, 200,000 SF core and shell, Class A office building with an 86,000 SF level of underground parking for 245 cars.

The structure is a steel brace frame atop a five-ft.-thick concrete mat slab. Scope included demo of existing parking lot and re-routing of existing utilities away from project excavation.

The project was Design-Build for the MEP systems and shoring. It was critical to get the shoring subconsultant on board early to coordinate with existing site utilities.The building also was constructed on an occupied campus with very tight logistics that included  providing uninterrupted access to the VTA light rail station on the site. Level 10’s team maintained schedule despite having to eliminate unexpected groundwater during construction of the 20-ft.-deep underground parking.
