The Geisel Teaching and Learning Commons project is a renovation of an existing library space to serve as a 12,000 SF teaching and active learning space with conference and meeting rooms, open office and reception areas, which will be separated from the main library by a secure storefront perimeter. The project is located on first floor of the main UCSD Geisel Library. The existing library serves between 5,000 to 7,000 students daily. LEED Silver.
